Badminton Strings:
Thin badminton strings perform excellently as its thickness ranges
from 0.62 mm to 0.73 mm. The normal tension strength of the string
available in the market is 80 N to 160 N. in the professional strings,
the tension is of about 110 N and 160 N but the recreational players
prefer strings that have slightly less tension ranging from 80 N and 110
N.
Badminton Grip:
The grip of the rackets, help the players play comfortable and
increase the thickness of the rackets according to them. The material
used in the making of the grips of badminton rackets are PU synthetic,
cotton towel etc. Moreover, this grip helps the player to overcome the
issue of sweat in palms while playing and the racket also gets thickness
allowing better performance of the player.
Badminton Shuttlecock:
A shuttlecock is conical projectile, with 16 feathers overlapping
each other. These feathers are embedded in a cork at the end with the
final thin layer of leather or any other synthetic material. In market
there is other type of shuttlecock also available that are made up of
nylon with cork or synthetic foam base. It has a plastic skirt in place
of 16 overlapping feathers.
Badminton Shoes:
Badminton shoes are light in weight and the sole of the shoe is made
up of rubber some similar high grip material. As compared to the other
sport shoes, these shoes are light in weight and designed in order to
provide support to the ankle and ensuring safe footwork at the time of
play.
